Irish Stallion Farms EBF Fillies Maiden

Well-bred filly who ran to a fair level when placed in a trio of maidens at Dundalk last year, proving wayward under pressure and collared near the line when runner-up on final outing. Fared no better for the fitting of a hood on turf debut on return. Needs to settle better upped in trip.

Too Darn Hot filly. 5/1 and in tongue strap, showed ability when close third of 8 in maiden at Naas (1m, good to soft) on debut 11 days ago, having to come from a long way back to be involved. Looks sure to improve with the longer trip also in her favour.

Mehmas filly. Half-sister to smart winner up to 7f Age of Kings and 2-y-o 1m winner Dunamase. Dam winner up to 1¼m (2-y-o 1m winner) who stayed 1½m. Wears tongue strap and this newcomer makes plenty of appeal on paper.

€30,000 foal, €65,000 yearling, Calyx filly. 11/2, shaped with promise but needed experience when second of 8 in maiden at Gowran (9.5f, good to soft) on debut 23 days ago. Should progress.

Cotai Glory filly. Showed little when last of 10 in maiden claimer at Roscommon (7.4f, good to soft) on debut 10 days ago. Significantly up in trip.

Has finished no better than mid-field in 3 maidens. Upped in trip and she's bred to be smart but has some way to go to live up to her pedigree.

Well held both starts and makes limited appeal.
