Alice De Clare²⁶

Age: 3| Weight: 9-7| J: Oisin Murphy| T: J R Fanshawe| OR: 68| D

2/7

Space Blues filly who has made a positive start in handicaps, finishing second before readily going one better at Yarmouth (both 1¼m, good to firm). She's 9 lb higher now but it doesn't look enough to stop her.

Form: 97421

Zooter²⁶

Age: 3| Weight: 9-6| J: K Shoemark| T: Jack Jones| OR: 67

12/1

Fair maiden but went backwards from reappearance when fifth of 6 in handicap at Yarmouth (1m, good to firm) 26 days ago. The first-time cheekpieces he wore on that occasion are quickly discarded. Also steps up in trip.

Form: 9444-25

Pentonville^p1⁴⁵

9/2

Has shown a fair level of ability in 3 outings over 7f/1m. Steps up to 1¼m for this handicap debut with cheekpieces also added. In top hands so improvement would come as no surprise.

Form: 5-25

Forecasts

Alice De Clare (2/7), Pentonville (9/2), Zooter (12/1), Zipwire (22/1), Fille Imbassee (28/1)

ALICE DE CLARE is going the right way and looks capable of coping with a 9 lb rise for her easy Yarmouth victory. The main threat may come from George Boughey handicap newcomer Pentonville.
