Friends Don't Ask^p⁸

Age: 11| Weight: 11-7| J: Brendan Powell| T: C Ellam| OR: 87| CD

7/2

On a lengthy losing run but has returned in better form this season, shaping better than the bare result when 5¼ lengths third of 10 to Special John at Bangor-On-Dee 8 days ago. Races off same mark here and likely to be involved if in same form.

Form: 7D/PP-33

Hatos^p,t³⁰

Age: 9| Weight: 11-3| J: Freddie Gingell| T: J Tizzard| OR: 83

15/8

Has rediscovered some consistency this season and arrives on the back of 4 placed efforts, ½ lengths third of 12 to Majestic Moment at this course last time. Unproven beyond 2½m, though, and sole previous try at this sort of trip resulted in a tame finish.

Form: P52233-

Prince Cleni⁴¹

Age: 8| Weight: 11-2| J: G Sheehan| T: Christian Williams| OR: 82

11/4

All 3 career victories over 3m at Southwell but posted one of his better efforts when 4¾ lengths second of 4 to Esperti at Fakenham last month. Tends to be let down by jumping over fences.

Form: FP25U2-

Unspeakable^t³⁵

Age: 8| Weight: 11-1| J: Mr J J Murphy-Knight⁽⁷⁾| T: Christian Williams| OR: 81

11/2

Doubled his chase tally at Hereford (25f) in 2025/26 but has failed to repeat that level in 4 subsequent outings. Back down to last winning mark but looks stable second-string on jockey bookings.

Form: 316276-

Twp Stori^p⁹³

Age: 8| Weight: 11-1| J: Benjamin Macey⁽⁵⁾| T: S Drinkwater| OR: 81| CD

15/2

Dual hurdles winner. Probably needed the run when down the field on chasing debut last season but has run poorly over hurdles since and looks to have an uphill task back over fences after another 93 days off. Cheekpieces back on.

Form: 454/B56-

Forecasts

Hatos (15/8), Prince Cleni (11/4), Friends Don't Ask (7/2), Jack's Jury (7/2), Gata Ban (9/2), Unspeakable (11/2), Twp Stori (15/2)

GATA BAN and Friends Dont Ask finished second and third respectively over C&D earlier this month and, while Friends Dont Ask can be expected to finish a bit closer this time, Gata Ban is selected to confirm those placings and come out on top. Jack's Jury is lightly raced over fences and is respected having chased home a pair of subsequent winners at Ffos Las 3 weeks ago.
