Bloodless winner of all-weather maiden at Kempton on debut in November and having been strong in the betting, shaped with bags of promise amid residual greenness when 4 lengths fifth of 19 to True Love in 1000 Guineas at Newmarket (1m) 3 weeks ago. Remains open to significant progress.

Won a Haydock maiden by 12 lengths on debut last summer and has made the frame in 3 subsequent starts at pattern level. seeing the trip out well when neck second of 12 to Azleet in Nell Gwyn Stakes at Newmarket (7f) on return just under 6 weeks ago. Improvement needed in this company.

Landed Group 2 here on second start, before runner-up to stablemate Precise in Moyglare next time. Off her feet for much of the way and not at home on the track when 5¾ lengths eighth of 12 to Azleet in Nell Gwyn Stakes at Newmarket (7f) on return last month. Outsider of Ballydoyle trio.

Won final 2 starts last September, readily landing Weld Park Stakes here to end the campaign. Underperformed on return but bounced back to the sort of form she'd shown last year when ¾-length second of 12 to Kensington Lane in Athasi Stakes over C&D (good) recently. Cheekpieces retained.

Night Of Thunder filly who comfortably landed the odds in 5-runner novice at Beverley (7.4f, good to firm) on debut last June. Overcame the rise in class to win 8-runner listed race at Sandown (7f, good to soft) the following month but hasn't been seen since.

Suited by increase in trip and showed much improved form when winning 12-runner Athasi Stakes over C&D (good) just under 3 weeks ago, holding on gamely having led on bridle 3f out. Her attitude will stand her in good stead but needs plenty more to be competitive at this level.

First past the post on debut at Listowel but subsequently disqualified. Made the places on 4 other occasions, taking her form up a notch when 1¼ lengths second of 13 to True Love in Priory Belle Stakes at Leopardstown (7f, soft) 6 weeks ago. Hard to see her getting that close to that rival here.

Off the mark with something to spare at Galway on second start last year. Ran to a similar level when chasing home Black Caviar Gold here in September and resumed with a good 3 lengths third of 13 to True Love in Priory Belle Stakes at Leopardstown (7f) on return 6 weeks ago. Stiff task in this.

The best 2-y-o filly in Europe last season, with Group 1 wins in Moyglare and Fillies' Mile at Newmarket. Sent off favourite but shaped as if better for the run when 5 lengths seventh of 19 to True Love in 1000 Guineas at latter track (1m) 3 weeks ago. Worth another chance to get back on the up.

Built on debut promise 6 months on when impressively scoring by 6 lengths at Gowran (7.8f, soft) recently. Ran to a similar level upped in grade when 2¾ lengths fourth of 12 to Kensington Lane in Athasi Stakes over C&D (good) earlier in the month but this looks a step too far.

Havana Grey filly who made a winning start at Newbury over 6f last summer. Enhanced her form in defeat thereafter and took a big step forward when winning 14-runner Fred Darling Stakes at same track (7f, good) on return recently. Had bit in hand that day and worth a try at this level.

Progressed further to add a Classic success to the Group 1 she took at Newmarket at 2 yrs when winning 19-runner 1000 Guineas at same course (1m) 3 weeks ago, looking suited by a further step up in trip. Open to further progress, there's every chance she will complete a Guineas double.

Forecasts

True Love (10/11), Precise (3/1), Abashiri (13/2), Sukanya (14/1), Magny Cours (20/1), America Queen (20/1), Pivotal Attack (25/1), Black Caviar Gold (25/1), Beautify (33/1), Hope Queen (33/1), Kensington Lane (33/1), Sinmara (50/1)

Verdict

TRUE LOVE posted one of the better winning performances in recent years when giving Aidan O'Brien an eighth 1000 Guineas at Newmarket 3 weeks ago and with the ceiling of her ability yet to be ascertained, she can emulate Winter and Hermosa in completing a Guineas double for this yard. Precise and Abashiri were beaten a similar distance by the selection on reappearance last time and it would be no surprise to see them get closer here.
