Dual-purpose performer who scored twice on the Flat last summer. Off since a below par showing over hurdles at Market Rasen (16.6f) in September but his record when fresh is a definite plus ahead of this return to chasing. One to note in the betting.

Won a pair of handicap chases around 2m under Sean Bowen on joining Martin Keighley last spring. Largely below best last term but more like it with sights lowered when third at Warwick (2m) 3 weeks ago. Now his task is to build on that effort.

Registered a fifth career victory over fences at Sedgefield (2m) in September. Campaigned over hurdles subsequently, shaping like he'd sharpen up for last month's reappearance fourth at Stratford (18.7f) 5 weeks ago. Can take a step forward back over larger obstacles with usual headgear back on.

Much improved on the back of a breathing operation, making it 4 wins from last 6 starts at Chepstow (2m) in April, encouraging that he was notably fluent in the jumping department in the latter stages. 4 lb rise should see him competitive again.

Resumed winning ways at Ludlow (2½m) in October and has remained in good form in defeat since, finishing third over 3m back at that venue 31 days ago. Steps down markedly in trip now but he's expected to cope with it.

Maiden hurdle winner last autumn. Also a creditable third in a 2m Ascot novice in November but he made a disappointing start to his chase career when pulled up at Uttoxeter at the beginning of the month.

In good form over fences last year, scoring at Cartmel in August. Might have found busy spell catching up with him when down the field over hurdles at Ludlow on final outing in November and he returns to action with his stable in red-hot form. Interesting.

No shortage of chances and with that in mind a chance is taken on bottom weight DEXTER. He was below par over hurdles when last seen but returns with his stable in red-hot form and his consistency was largely hard to knock over fences last year. Supreme George is 4 from 6 over fences since a breathing operation and looks sure to go well. Nibras Gold given his record fresh and Jet of Dreams are others to consider.
