Glitz And Glamour²¹⁴

Age: 5| Weight: 11-6| J: Harry Cobden| T: E McNamara| OR: 104

15/2

Made it third time lucky over hurdles at Sligo in August and made an encouraging enough start over fences when third of 6 at Killarney in October. Tailed off at this track (19f, heavy) a fortnight later though but could step up on return/handicap chase debut.

Form: 361839/

Golden Temple^t¹⁵³

Age: 6| Weight: 11-5| J: Donagh Meyler| T: N Meade| OR: 103| D

9/1

Fairly useful winner at 2m on Flat and up to 21f over hurdles but little encouragement to glean from his 3 chase efforts. Tongue tie back on for return/handicap chase debut.

Form: 409969/

Temptationinmilan^b1²⁰

Age: 10| Weight: 11-4| J: Ms A T O'Reilly⁽⁷⁾| T: Eamon Courtney| OR: 102| D

40/1

Fairly useful chaser at best but out of sorts all 3 starts in hunters this year under Rules, having no chance at the weights at Punchestown earlier in the month. First-time blinkers on.

Form: 4P4450-

The Dara Man¹⁵²

Age: 11| Weight: 11-4| J: J J Slevin| T: J P Ryan| OR: 102| C| D

20/1

11-y-o who has plenty to prove on the back of his last 2 efforts, seeming amiss when last seen at Thurles in December.

Form: 0U46PP/

Doyen Magic⁷⁰

Age: 7| Weight: 10-11| J: Tiernan Power Roche| T: P J Rothwell| OR: 95| C| D

4/1

Scored over hurdles here in November and arrives in good nick, second of 8 in handicap chase at this track 10 weeks ago. Considered stepping back up in trip.

Form: 531P22/

Toon Town^p¹⁰

Age: 9| Weight: 10-10| J: Shane O'Callaghan⁽⁵⁾| T: David O'Sullivan| OR: 94

11/2

Ran at least as well as on stable debut over hurdles when third of 14 in handicap chase at Killarney (2½m, good to soft) 10 days ago, probably left with bit too much to do. Every chance he can make amends here.

Form: 6642/6-3

One Way Traffic^t¹⁷⁹

Age: 9| Weight: 10-8| J: Phillip Enright| T: O McKiernan| OR: 92

9/1

Little form over hurdles/fences, last seen tailed off at Cork in November. Back chasing for his return but looks an easy swerve.

Form: 6886F9/

Springboard³⁵

Age: 7| Weight: 10-3| J: Cian Quirke| T: M J McDonagh| OR: 87| C

4/1

Stepped up markedly on his comeback run to win 14-runner handicap hurdle at this track (2m, heavy) 5 weeks ago. Longer trip should pose no problems and he's one to consider on chase debut.

Form: 0637/41-

Carlas Big Jim³⁵

Age: 8| Weight: 10-0| J: Gary Noonan| T: L J Archdeacon| OR: 81| D

17/2

On long losing run but was in the process of running well when fell in handicap hurdle at this track (19f, heavy) 5 weeks ago. Back chasing but others more appealing for win purposes from out of the weights.

Form: 5/P609F-

Back The West^t,v¹¹

Age: 11| Weight: 10-0| J: Paddy Cleary⁽⁷⁾| T: I Madden| OR: 72

66/1

Long-standing maiden hurdler/chaser that has made little impact in recent seasons, including at Cork in a first-time visor after 7 months off recently. Readily passed over from well out of the weights.

Form: 49759/P

Forecasts

Doyen Magic (4/1), Springboard (4/1), General Clermont (5/1), Toon Town (11/2), Glitz And Glamour (15/2), Carlas Big Jim (17/2), One Way Traffic (9/1), Golden Temple (9/1), The Dara Man (20/1), Temptationinmilan (40/1), Back The West (66/1)

TOON TOWN has made a decent start for new connections and having been left with too much to do at Killarney earlier in the month, David O'Sullivan's 9-y-o can add to his sole previous success at the expense of Springboard, who capitalised on a reduced mark over hurdles here 5 weeks ago and now heads over the larger obstacles. Doyen Magic and General Clermont can fight out third.
