Ex-Spanish gelding who landed a claimer in June. Ran a cracker on first outing for Tom Dascombe when shooting off a hot pace and finding only a useful sort too good in a 1¼m Newbury handicap in September. Excuses back there on final outing and remains of interest on first start for new yard.
Confirmed himself better than ever when landing back-to-back Kempton handicaps (11f) in the autumn. Had a hopeless task from his position in a much stronger race there on his final outing and now reverts to turf after a break.
Showed fairly useful form in maiden/novice company last season, including when making the most of a good opportunity at Windsor (1¼m, good to firm) on final outing in June. Gelded subsequently and of interest now going handicapping from an attractive opening mark.
Signed off time in Ireland with a 15-runner maiden win at Listowel (1m) in September. Always behind in the Spring Mile on handicap/stable debut but stepped up on that run when fifth of 8 in Haydock handicap (10.5f) last month, despite perhaps finding the ground a bit lively.
Won on debut for Simon & Ed Crisford in 2024 but lightly raced in recent times, finishing down the field in 1¼m handicap at Newbury (good) after 11 months off 33 days ago. Hood on for 1st time.
Quickly returned to form when third of 9 in 11f handicap at Southwell on most recent outing. Has more on his plate stepping back up in grade, though.

Forecasts
River King (8/13), Crystal Mariner (6/1), Alcaraz (13/2), Robbo (15/2), The Green Mile (11/1), Naples (22/1)
RIVER KING has some notably strong form which makes his opening BHA mark of 84 look lenient, so he's taken to make a successful return to action. Alcaraz shaped well on a couple of occasions for Tom Dascombe last year and surely has races in him from a mark in the mid 80s.
