Fourteen runs since last win in 2024 but ran well back over hurdles when second of 12 in a C&D handicap (soft, 12/1) 10 days ago. Not taken lightly back down in grade.
Completed a hat-trick in this sphere at up to 23f in late 2024 but 0-5 over fences, running no sort of race in first-time cheekpieces at Stratford on most recent outing. First run for yard after leaving Olly Murphy.
Ended a long losing run in 9-runner handicap hurdle at Ayr (2½m, heavy, 10/3) 32 days ago. Did it in good style and should remain competitive.
Progressive sort who showed a good attitude to resume winning ways in 10-runner handicap hurdle at Ayr (2½m, soft) in March. An 8 lb higher mark in a stronger race demands more, however.
Fair 2m Flat winner in France who showed improved form to double his tally over hurdles in 10-runner handicap at Ffos Las (2½m, soft) 37 days ago, suited by increased in trip. Still unexposed and a 6 lb higher mark doesn't look enough to prevent the follow up.
Southwell maiden hurdle winner over 2½m who wasn't seen to best effect when fifth of 6 in handicap hurdle at this course (2m, good) 17 days ago, inadequate test. Step back up in trip sure to suit and he's one to consider.
Dual hurdles winner who disappointed with his response to pressure at Newcastle in February and had a rough race prior to exiting on his chasing debut here since.
Successful over C&D last summer and has shaped well both starts back since returning from a break, latterly when 6 lengths third of 15 to reopposing Wee Alki over 23f. Will be better suited by a return to this trip and remains of interest.
4-time course winner but lost his way badly when last seen in the autumn and can only be watched at present.
Failed to beat a rival on his handicap debut at Catterick (19f, good) in December. Others preferred.

Thewoodcorner (1/1), Divilabother (5/1), Sunset Hill (11/2), Balboa (6/1), Double Digits (8/1), Wee Alki (10/1), Banderas (11/1), Red Cadillac (12/1), Terrorise (12/1), Born Like Me (22/1), That One (22/1), Well Educated (40/1), Kilbarry Hill (80/1)
THEWOODCORNER proved well suited by the step up to 2½m when resuming winning ways at Ffos Las month and a 6 lb higher mark doesn't look enough to prevent the follow up, especially with further progress on the cards. Divilabother has shaped well on both starts since returning from a break and can go well again back down in trip, with Balboa and Sunset Hill others to consider.
