Much improved to make a successful start to his handicap career at Nottingham (1¼m, good to soft) on reappearance 6 weeks ago. Likely has more to offer for a stable no stranger to success in this race.
Promising start to his handicap career last month, finishing a close second at Yarmouth before going one better at Redcar (both1¼m, good to firm). A 6 lb rise may not stop him with further progress on the cards.
Proved a different proposition when successful on handicap debut upped to 1¼m at Lingfield in January. Creditable efforts on turf twice since, latterly going down by only a head at Goodwood (1¼m, good) in cheekpieces (left off now) 17 days ago.
Got more competitive than on first 2 starts when fourth of 13 in 1m Kempton maiden last October. Likely improver now handicapping over a longer trip on return (has been gelded). Market confidence would look significant.
Landed 9-runner maiden at Leicester (1m, good) last October and improved again when second of 8 on 1¼m Doncaster handicap debut (good to firm) on reappearance 24 days ago. Pulled clear of the rest and there's likely even more to come.
Fair form when fifth of 8 in maiden at Salisbury (1½m, good) 15 days ago. Makes handicap debut with the stable among the winners.
Much improved switched to handicaps this year, getting off the mark in good style at Southwell (1m) in January. Subsequently sold from Joseph O'Brien for 28,000 gns. Respectable third of 7 in handicap at Lingfield (1¼m) for new yard 34 days ago. Makes turf debut.

Forecasts
Morbeh (9/4), King Of Berkshire (9/4), Any Which Way (3/1), Oh Yes You Do (6/1), Wardlaw (14/1), Grey Sands (25/1), Sir Griflet (50/1)
A few progressive sorts clash in an interesting 3-y-o handicap. Top of the list is KING OF BERKSHIRE who had a bit in hand at Redcar and can make light of a 6 lb rise. Michael Bell has won this race twice in recent years and his Nottingham scorer Any Which Way is second choice ahead of Oh Yes You Do and Sir Mark Prescott handicap newcomer Wardlaw.
