Butterfly Beach^t¹⁷²

Age: 3| Weight: 9-2| J: H Crouch| T: E Walker| OR: 74

9/4

Beaten favourite 3 times in novice events last year before showing fair form when third of 7 in nursery at Newcastle over 5f in November. Steps back up in trip on return from 6 months off and probably sets the standard.

Creative Queen^b1¹⁵

Age: 3| Weight: 9-2| J: Cieren Fallon| T: W J Haggas| OR: 71

5/4

Took a step forward when second of 6 in a C&D maiden 15 days ago, settling better before hanging left late on. First-time blinkers may aid concentration and she's not without hope for top connections.

Form: 2-62

(4)

Reigning Queen¹⁵

Age: 3| Weight: 9-2| J: David Probert| T: A M Balding

10/3

Well-bred sort who showed promise when fourth of 8 at Southwell over 5f on debut 15 days ago, starting slowly. Open to plenty of improvement switched to turf and upped to 6f so looks sure to be in the mix.

Form: 4

(5)

Viviana¹³

Age: 3| Weight: 9-2| J: Jack Callan⁽³⁾| T: C Johnston

13/2

From a family that has had plenty of success in these silks and shaped well when third of 6 on debut at Redcar over 6f (22/1) 13 days ago, finishing with running left. Can improve for that experience and may prove up to getting off the mark in this company.

Forecasts

Creative Queen (5/4), Butterfly Beach (9/4), Reigning Queen (10/3), Viviana (13/2), Secret Harvest (25/1)

VIVIANA can improve significantly from her debut experience and is fancied to oblige. Reigning Queen also shaped well first time up and looks most interesting of the rest, while Butterfly Beach sets the standard if others don't improve as expected.
