Maiden winner here (11.3f) last summer who improved when fourth at listed level next time. Produced a low-key effort after 7 months off at Cork 18 days ago but this step back up in trip rates a definite plus and better anticipated with a visor now enlisted.

11/1
Progressive 1¾m winner in France who posted fair efforts in a trio of juvenile hurdles upon joining new yard this winter. However, proved most disappointing when down the field making Flat debut for present stable at Navan (1¾m, heavy) 6 weeks ago. This promises to reveal more.

Made a winning debut in a Roscommon maiden (1½m) in July and acquitted himself well up in grade when second in minor event over this trip at Galway in August. Visor goes on for return and he must be respected for yard boasting a fine strike rate.

Bumper winner who shaped quite well both starts in maiden hurdles and made a winning debut in this sphere in manner of a potentially useful stayer at Bellewstown (11.4f) 4 weeks ago. More to come now stamina is tested further.

Wootton Bassett filly who overcame some residual greenness to make it second time lucky in a Bellewstown maiden (12.4f) in August, looking better the further she went. Work to do on these terms but unlikely we've seen all she has to offer now stamina is tested further.

Successful in a bumper and over hurdles prior to finishing an unlucky second on Flat debut at Dundalk in February. Posted another solid effort when second in Grade 2 hurdle at Fairyhouse last month and he remains a bright prospect back in this sphere.

Verdict

Low-mileage 5-y-o SKY CAPTAIN quickly reached a useful level in 2 starts last year and, with further progress distinctly possible, he's fancied to make a bold bid to enhance his yard's already impeccable strike rate in recent weeks with a first-time visor now added. Defiantly promises to be suited by the return to further and is feared also equipped with headgear. Tim Toe and Ebony King rate next best.
