Fairly useful hurdler who gained compensation for a couple of near misses when successful at Naas in November. Limitations rather exposed since, though.

Won mares maiden chase at Gowran in November and posted an excellent third of 20 in Grand Annual at the Cheltenham Festival (2m, good, 20/1) in March. Ran flat at Fairyhouse since but well worth another chance back over hurdles in first-time cheekpieces with yard still going well.

Took advantage of a drop in the weights when landing a Thurles handicap hurdle in October. Not seen to best effect back on the level 6 months later but faces no easy task on these terms.

Fairly useful hurdler who wasn't at his best in first-time cheekpieces at Bellewstown (17f, good to soft) 3 weeks ago, seeming unsuited by the track.

Built on debut promise when winning 15-runner maiden hurdle (9/4) at Fairyhouse (2m, heavy) in February. That performance is supported by the timefigure and she's open to further improvement now stepping up in grade.

Made it 3 wins from her last 5 starts in a first-time tongue strap at Clonmel (2½m) in October. Faced a stiff task in a non-handicap back there next time before running poorly at Thurles.

Useful hurdler who made a successful chasing debut in 9-runner maiden at Clonmel (2m, good to soft) 25 days ago, well on top finish. Obvious player on the pick of her form making a swift return to this sphere.

Confirmed the promise of her Martin Pipe run at the Cheltenham Festival when winning 19-runner handicap hurdle at Cork (19f, good to soft, 11/2) last month, driven clear. Return to shorter shouldn't inconvenience her and has to be taken seriously.

Forecasts

Sainte Lucie (1/1), Break My Soul (11/4), Royal Hollow (4/1), Dunsy Rock (14/1), Queenofthelodge (25/1), Disco Dancer (28/1), Bynx (40/1), Tir Og (40/1), Redwood Queen (40/1), Katherine (50/1)

Verdict

BREAK MY SOUL ran flat at Fairyhouse on her most recent outing but she was an excellent third in the Grand Annual at the Cheltenham Festival the time before and is well worth another chance back over hurdles after a small break, especially with her yard still going well. Sainte Lucie arrives on the back of a career best and shouldn't be inconvenienced by the return to shorter, with Royal Hollow also respected making a swift return to this sphere.
