A winning pointer who wasn't disgraced when third of 9 in hunter chase at Cartmel (21f, soft) last May. Remote fourth in a 2½m course maiden hurdle a month later. Has drawn a blank in 5 points this season and other looks stronger back in a hunter.

Forecasts

Line Em Up (11/8), Eastern Storm (11/4), Eagles Rock (11/2), Peaceinthevalley (9/1), Sunset On Fire (11/1), Bentley Road (12/1), Second Subaltern (12/1), Whatudoing (14/1), Imperial Imp (14/1), Economic Editor (25/1), Pulse Of Camelot (66/1)

Verdict

EASTERN STORM's winning form in open points this year looks strong and he can make a successful start to his hunter career for local handler Jimmy Walton. Line Em Up and Sunset On Fire are other hunter newcomers who arrive in top form from the pointing field. This comes quick on Eagles Rock after Wednesday's Kelso second but he'd also merit respect if lining up.
