Made it 2-2 on the all-weather when successful in this grade over C&D on return. The placed horses have franked that form subsequently, and he may well follow up off just a 2 lb higher mark.

Looked quirky when hitting the frame in 2 of his 3 starts as a juvenile and similar story when well beaten on return (had been gelded in the interim) at Beverley.
Runner-up in a selling nursery on handicap/all-weather debut at Newcastle (6f) in November but proved too free over the same C&D the following month. Should at least get some cover from an inside draw on her return.
Confirmed the improvement shown on final start as a juvenile when sixth of 12 in a course handicap (6f) on return. In the mix if he can build on that over the longer trip.
Earthlight filly found one too good for the third successive start at Catterick last time. Looks consistent rather than progressive ahead of this handicap debut, but it's still early days.
In fine form last year and having been gelded over the winter, ran well behind a less-exposed trio on reappearance here (6f). Makes plenty of appeal stepping back up to the trip of his 2 previous wins.
Couldn't build on a promising qualifying run when disappointing on return/handicap debut at Newcastle (6f). Raced too freely on that occasion and could do better with a run under his belt/first-time tongue strap added.
Beat a next-time-out winner when notching a second C&D victory in March. Not disgraced when fourth behind less-exposed rivals at Doncaster last time and should be firmly in the mix returning to the all-weather.
Five-race maiden who ended last season with a below-par seventh of 9 in a nursery at Haydock. Gelded prior to this all-weather debut but it's hard to be confident of improvement.
Showed improved form when successful on all-weather debut at Newcastle in November and while entitled to come on for his reappearance there, probably has his work cut out in this grade.
Fared no better than on return/handicap debut when well beaten behind Sporting Light last time.

Forecasts

SPORTING LIGHT isn't fully exposed and can maintain his unbeaten record on the all-weather. Fanjove looks sure to go close stepping back up to 7f, with Popty Ping another likely player returning to the scene of her 2 previous victories.
