Constantinian^t⁴⁴

Age: 6| Weight: 11-12| J: James Davies| T: O Signy| OR: 103

4/1

Fairly useful bumper winner who is getting better over hurdles and shaped as if he may be ready for this sort of trip when rallying into third on 19f Carlisle handicap debut in March. Open to further progress.

Form: 31/243-

Parliamo³⁵

Age: 6| Weight: 11-12| J: Mr D Andrews⁽⁷⁾| T: Mrs M Rowley| OR: 103

4/1

Made a sound enough start to his handicap career when fourth of 8 at Bangor (23f, good to soft) 35 days ago, although he didn't find much off the bridle. More will be needed.

Form: 43/8644-

Les's Destiny Star²³

10/3

Debut bumper winner. Yet to better modest form over hurdles but latest 5 lengths third (Star Turn second) of 14 over C&D shows he can be competitive from his mark.

Form: 0/4P843-

Dessie Haze¹⁴

Age: 8| Weight: 11-3| J: Conor Ring| T: P C Dando| OR: 94| D

11/1

Came good in 3m Chepstow handicap last month but a 6 lb rise was enough to find him out over C&D since.

6/1

Lightly-raced 6-y-o who left previous efforts behind when 11 lengths third on 2¾m Stratford handicap debut (soft) in March. Shaped better than the result when fifth of 15 over 3m at Chepstow since. Considered.,

Forecasts

Star Turn (16/5), Les's Destiny Star (10/3), Parliamo (4/1), Constantinian (4/1), Hillwalk (5/1), Colby Mayfield (6/1), Dessie Haze (11/1), Times Are Green (22/1), Jaja Jimmy (25/1)

HILLWALK and Constantinian arrive on the back of encouraging handicap debut efforts and might be the pair to focus on, with a narrow preference for the former. Colby Mayfield and recent C&D runner-up Star Turn are others likely to be in the mix.
