DroneArt Show May 8th Handicap

Looked limited at 2 yrs for Brett Johnson but improved efforts to finish placed in 2 handicaps for this yard this season, most recently when third of 12 in handicap at Lingfield (1m, all-weather) 20 days ago. Place claims again.

Iffraaj filly hasn't made much of an impact in maiden/novice company but she looks a good type physically and it'd be no surprise if she was an improver now handicapping.

No threat at 2 yrs but seemed unlucky not to win a 6-runner C&D event (good to firm) on his comeback last week, meeting trouble before finishing with a flourish. Can gain compensation from same mark.

Cheap purchase finished fifth of 8 over 1m at Kempton on debut but failed to beat a rival dropped to 6f on next 2 starts. Bred to fare better over this sort of trip and now steps into handicap company (first run on turf).

Went close to a first success at Kempton (7f) in February but more miss than hit on balance and he's been soundly beaten on both subsequent outings. Tongue strap goes on.

Improved when fourth of 9 on handicap debut at Wolverhampton (8.6f) in March and took another step forward to share the spoils in an 8-runner race at Wetherby (1m) last week. That was a weak race, so she'll likely need more to defy a penalty.

No threat as a juvenile for Alice Haynes and hasn't showed any more promise in 4 starts for current yard.

Has run well the last twice, finishing a close second of 12 at Southwell (1m) last month and a good third of 12 in handicap at Wolverhampton (7f) last week. Place claims again from unchanged mark.
