Catterick maiden winner on third and final start of 2-y-o campaign and C&D reappearance fourth in a 13-runner handicap at the Craven meeting was encouraging, giving way close home after looking a big threat around a furlong out. Strong claims off the same mark with Ryan Moore again booked.

Bred to be useful and there were positives to take from each of her 3 starts as a 2-y-o, for all that she failed to progress. No surprise were she to take a step forward now handicapping and dangerous to discount off what looks a fair opening mark.

SIERRA SANDS travelled well throughout the race and left the impression that he would come on for the run when a close fourth in a similar C&D handicap at the Craven meeting. He again has the assistance of Ryan Moore and shades preference ahead of well-bred filly Nanoscience, who opened her account on the all-weather last month and brings potential to this handicap debut. Stellar Vision, who was just ahead of the selection in the aforementioned C&D handicap, also has solid claims.
