Seven-time winner on the all-weather and, though yet to strike on turf, he was runner-up in 3 consecutive handicaps on firm/good to firm last season, including in this corresponding race. Likely to be in the thick of things.
Proved at least as good as ever as she made a winning reappearance at Wolverhampton (5f) last month. Failed to fire here recently but this 5-y-o is a 3-time course winner and would have a live each-way chance if able to bounce back.
Notched third career win when bagging a 5f Lingfield (turf) handicap last summer and largely acquitted herself well thereafter. Wasn't seen to best effect on the all-weather at Lingfield on latest start in December and he could have a part to play if raring to go back from a break.
Registering third success on the all-weather at Lingfield in January and while her turf record stands at 0-9, she has finished in the money on several occasions on grass, including twice at this course. Still, she looks vulnerable from a win point of view.
Scored at Windsor and Yarmouth last season and, having left George Scott for just 2,000 gns, she shaped encouragingly coming from further back than the first 2 when third over C&D (good) on return 22 days ago. More will be needed if she's to land this prize, though.
Front runner who hit the target in 5f handicaps at Lingfield and Ffos Las last year. Placed on a few occasions thereafter and didn't shape badly when fourth of 13 over C&D earlier this month (not far behind third-placed stablemate The Feminine Urge) but he looks vulnerable all the same.
Dual winner at Ffos Las last season before scoring over 5.7f here in September. Behind a couple of these when seventh in a 13-runner C&D handicap on his recent reappearance and, though entitled to come on for that, softer ground would be preferable.

Forecasts
Moe's Legacy (9/4), The Thames Boatman (5/2), Toolatetonegotiate (3/1), Solar Edge (15/2), The Feminine Urge (17/2), So Smart (14/1), Diamondsinthesand (33/1)
If he breaks alertly THE THAMES BOATMAN may well have enough in the locker to register a belated first victory on turf. He scored off a 7 lb higher mark on the all-weather during the winter and the forecast ground will be in his favour (best efforts on turf last season came on good to firm/firm). If she puts her best foot forward Moe's Legacy will be a threat, while Solar Edge should also make his presence felt.
