Modest maiden who ran poorly when ninth of 10 in nursery at Newcastle (7f) when last seen in November. Subsequently sold from David O'Meara for 900 gns. Not easy to make a case for at present.

Lightly-raced maiden who's made the frame on both starts in handicaps this season. Has a 7-Ib claimer on the saddle on turf debut and has to be taken seriously.

Well backed when making successful handicap debut at Newcastle (6f) in March. Shaped as if still in good form when fourth at Pontefract (6f, soft) 19 days ago after missing break. This new trip should suit on pedigree and is entitled to be thereabouts again.

Aclaim filly who displayed modest form at best as a juvenile and has finished well held on both starts in handicaps.

Third in handicap at Southwell in January. Has subsequently fallen down the weights without looking like taking advantage in 3 starts since.

Successful at Redcar (1m) last year. Creditable third of 12 in handicap over that C&D (good, 12/1) 6 days ago. Exposed sort who'll likely be vulnerable to lightly-raced rivals.

Has yet to better poor form but showed a bit when seventh of 12 in handicap at Redcar (1m, good) 6 days ago, not given a hard time after running into trouble. Has to prove he can back that up.

Lightly-raced maiden who improved when fourth of 9 on handicap debut at Wolverhampton (8.6f, 40/1) in March. Still seems to be learning and equipped with a first-time visor here.
