Useful sort has a good strike rate and following a fall on chase debut, he ran well to finish second behind a thrown-in rival over C&D on return from 5 months off. Makes appeal to go one better in first-time cheekpieces.

Looked better than ever when runner-up in the Imperial Cup at Sandown for the second consecutive season but was probably still feeling the effects of that race when down the field at Aintree last time. Has his sights considerably lowered here, though, and is likely worth another chance.
|
Followed up last April's C&D success with a career-best win at Newton Abbot on reappearance. Found the Sussex Champion Hurdle too competitive at Plumpton on latest start, but he ought to make more impact back in calmer waters.
|
Hasn't always looked the most straightforward, despite a fine recent strike rate in recent seasons, and he'll need to build on his reappearance fourth here to regain the winning thread.
|
Runner-up in C&D handicaps either side of his Leicester success, finishing ahead of a couple of subsequent winners here in late-February, and this versatile sort should give his running again.

Forecasts
The Kemble Brewery (6/4), Wreckless Eric (3/1), Razzle Dazzle Boy (7/2), American Land (15/2), Inside Man (15/2)
THE KEMBLE BREWERY confirmed himself on a fair mark when runner-up over C&D last time, and with cheekpieces now added, he’s fancied to go one better. Wreckless Eric would be dangerous if bouncing back to his best, though.
