Bumper winner who got off the mark in this sphere despite a far from fluent round of jumping in 5-runner handicap over C&D just under 2 weeks ago. Still relatively unexposed at staying trips but will likely need to improve further to follow up from 6 lb higher.

Back-to-back hurdles winner last season and there were positives to glean form his chase debut fifth at Bangor in October. However jumping has let him down since, so no surprise to see him back over the smaller obstacles.
Successful 3 times over hurdles in 2024. Good second at Newton Abbot last summer but he's struggled since, looking rusty back hurdling after a break back there earlier in the month.
Irish point winner who made a winning hurdling debut at Warwick back in March 2025. Let down by his jumping on both starts over fences at Wincanton last month and reverts to hurdles with his usual headgear discarded. Should stay this easy 3m.
Ex-Irish hurdler/chaser for Paul Nolan. Prolific in points prior to finishing an encouraging second in 2 Exeter handicap hurdles since returning to Rules. Clipped heels and unseated rider on turn after fifth over C&D recently so is worth another chance.
Made a winning start over hurdles in a juvenile at Newton Abbot in July 2024 and unsurprisingly looked rusty following 16 months on the sidelines when down the field in a Flat handicap at Southwell in February. Similar story back hurdling last month and now heads up to 3m for the first time.
Got off the mark at Perth in August and solid placed efforts since at Stratford and Newton Abbot next 2 starts. However, he failed miserably to land a gamble on first outing for 6 months/since leaving Ella Pickard here recently and is now back over hurdles.

Forecasts
Noble Blue (7/4), McGregors Charge (9/2), Gasmani (5/1), Sage Green (11/2), Holeshot (6/1), Final Entry (9/1), Sam's Amour (20/1)
Things didn't go to plan for SAGE GREEN over the larger obstacles at Wincanton last month but now back over hurdles, Syd Hosie's charge can get back on track with this step up to 3m unlikely to pose any problems. Heading up the dangers is Gasmani, who got off the mark in this sphere despite a far from fluent round of jumping over C&D recently, with Noble Blue rounding off the shortlist.
