Fair ex-Irish handicap hurdler for Louise Lyons and bettered debut effort for present connections when fourth in a 10-runner Wincanton handicap (25f, good) with cheekpieces refitted last time. Solid claims off the same mark.
Got back on the up after a breathing operation when second of 9 in handicap at Catterick in February. No great surprise to see the cheekpieces he sported that day refitted here having struggled in a first-time visor at Musselburgh last time but looks vulnerable all the same.
Successful over C&D off 3 lb lower last June and has produced solid placed efforts in 21f Kelso handicaps on 2 of his last 3 starts. Versatile ground-wise and should make his presence felt.
Won staying handicap hurdles at Kelso and Ayr last term. It's been an ongoing set-to with the handicapper since but, to her credit, she has finished runner-up on 3 occasions this season, including with a first-time visor enlisted at Carlisle (25f, good) recently. Likely to be in the mix.
Ran up to best in a change of headgear when second of 8 in handicap at Huntingdon in November but has followed that with a couple of rather drab displays.
Was well backed and left previous efforts behind upped markedly in trip when winning 6-runner handicap at Ayr (3m, heavy) last month. However, he was put in his place off this 5 lb higher mark at Wetherby next time.
Ready winner at Worcester for Ben Pauling last summer but has failed to complete in both an open point and a Newcastle handicap for present yard.
Winning pointer but yet to achieve anything of note in this sphere. Hopes pinned on a breathing operation working the oracle.
In frame twice over hurdles and close second when falling heavily 3 out in novice handicap at Hexham on last month's chase debut. Again failed to complete in first-time cheekpieces (retained) at the same course 9 days ago and it's no surprise that he now returns to the smaller obstacles.
No impact in bumpers/over hurdles and the switch handicap company yielded nothing more than very modest improvement when sixth in an 8-runner contest at Kelso.

Kells Priory (5/2), Roi Du Roume (9/2), Maura Jeanne (5/1), Maillot Blanc (13/2), Monsieur Le Fuzz (13/2), Ck O'mara (15/2), Shighness (10/1), Blue Indigo (14/1), Ebselysees (18/1), Am I Bovvered (22/1), Palm Beach (66/1)
It was a stronger handicap than this in which KELLS PRIORY was a creditable fourth at Wincanton, in the process banishing any memories of what was an underwhelming debut display for this yard at Warwick a month earlier. He makes plenty of appeal off the same mark here with a very capable amateur in the hot-seat. Maura Jeanne and Maillot Blanc are both pretty reliable on the whole and they should be on the premises, while Shighness also enters the reckoning.
