Underlined his consistency when fifth of 13 in a course handicap on latest start, without suggesting a first victory is imminent.

Maiden ran creditably under a more patient ride (also wore first-time tongue strap) when seventh of 13 here last time, and while he needs to improve for the longer trip to be competitive, that isn't out of the question.

Belatedly opened his account over C&D last October (under this claimer) and while back to form under more suitable conditions when fifth behind Square Du Roule last time, more is needed to reverse that form.

Posted another creditable effort when third here in February but too free to see out his race in a 17-runner C&D handicap last time. Not discounted if settling better in a weaker race.

Ran creditably to finish fourth of 17 over C&D last time, and with that race having produced a few next-time-out winners (including Square Du Roule), he needs considering in a less-competitive affair.

Veteran fared no better for another breathing operation when pulled up over C&D last time and it's easy to look elsewhere.
