Off time: 17:22 | Winning time: 4m 9.86s

Gospel Moon⁹⁵

Age: 5| Weight: 11-4| J: Lucy Gardner| T: Mrs S Gardner

200/1

Cheap purchase and sent off 100/1, he went with no promise when tenth of 11 in bumper at Exeter on debut in January, running green.

Form: 0

Quickkick^h⁴⁷

Age: 5| Weight: 11-4| J: Sean Houlihan| T: P Hobbs & J White

7/2

Third in a point but too keen when fourth of 11 in a bumper at Exeter in January. Still too free despite the application of a hood but he shaped well when third at Taunton a month later, not given a hard time. One to consider.

Form: 3-43

Taranis Dubh¹⁷⁷

Age: 5| Weight: 11-4| J: S Bowen| T: O Murphy

10/11

Half-brother to modest hurdler Jack Hoola (2½m winner). Won sole start in Irish points in October and has to be of obvious interest on Rules debut for leading stable.

Form: 1

Chocks Away³⁶

Age: 4| Weight: 10-10| J: Brendan Powell| T: Miss H C Knight

11/1

Backed at long odds but looked badly in need of the experience when seventh of 14 on Kempton debut in February, hanging left. Upped in trip and looked much more straightforward when third of 7 at Plumpton a month ago.

Form: 73

Duhallow Storm

Age: 4| Weight: 10-10| J: Sam Twiston-Davies| T: A J Honeyball

10/3

€105,000 3-y-o, Walk In The Park gelding. Dam (c112/h130), dual bumper/2m-2¼m hurdle winner (stayed 2½m), half-sister to fairly useful hurdler/chase winner (stayed 3¼m) Cogryhill. Ticks plenty of boxes on debut.

Form:

Jubilee Jack⁷⁷

Age: 4| Weight: 10-10| J: Tabitha Worsley| T: H Dickin

200/1

Looks very limited on early evidence.

Form: 00

Max D'airy^h³¹

Age: 4| Weight: 10-10| J: Freddie Gingell| T: P F Nicholls

13/2

Dam maiden over jumps in France, from family of very smart staying chaser Virak. Promise when second of 8 in maiden bumper at Nancy sole outing for N. George & A. Zetterholm in September. Subsequently sold for €100,000 but merely matched that form upped to 2m at Kempton (hooded).

Form: 5

Ta Ra For Now Jack⁵²

Age: 4| Weight: 10-3| J: Liam Harrison| T: Joe Ponting

150/1

Last of 8 in bumper at Chepstow on debut 52 days ago.

Form: 8

Forecasts

Taranis Dubh (10/11), Duhallow Storm (10/3), Quickkick (7/2), Max D'airy (13/2), Chocks Away (11/1), Ta Ra For Now Jack (150/1), Jubilee Jack (200/1), Gospel Moon (200/1)

DUHALLOW STORM's dam was good enough to win twice in this sphere and representing a yard with an excellent record in bumpers, he could be the way to go on debut. Point recruit Taranis Dubh is sure to be well prepared for this Rules debut, with Max d'Airy just about the pick of those with form in this discipline.
