Visit Bridles Care Home Wincanton Handicap Chase (GBB Race)

Landed a trio of small-field handicaps over fences in 2025. Came unstuck bidding for a 4-timer at Plumpton in October, held back by his jumping. Off since but this is another thin race.

Immediately surpassed hurdles form sent chasing in the autumn, winning twice, latterly at this track. Shaped better than result both starts since, including over hurdles fitted with cheekpieces 4 weeks ago and there should be more to come over the larger obstacles.

Poor strike rate but got off the mark in this sphere having been strong in the betting following a 9-week break in 4-runner 3m handicap at Huntingdon last month, again looking a thorough stayer. Stuck to it when second of 3 at Exeter on Tuesday and a similar scenario may well be forthcoming again.
