Dual bumper winner, who also landed a pair of 2m novice hurdles in 2024/25. Was in the process of running below expectations (held in fifth) when falling heavily last in novice handicap won by Palacio at this course on chasing debut in November. Reverts to hurdling on return.
Dual winner on Flat in France, who is unbeaten in 2 starts over hurdles, again belying a lengthy absence when making all in 8-runner handicap at Uttoxeter on return, beating Nowmelad by 5½ lengths. Open to further progress, but needs to defy an 11 lb rise.
Point winner who has made a bright start under Rules, overcoming inexperience and traffic problems to land a useful-looking Warwick novice in March before stepping up on that effort when 7 lengths second of 11 to Hurricane Pat in similar race at this course. Sure to progress again now handicapping.
Won twice over 19f at Taunton this season, but has found run of good form coming to an abrupt halt on last 2 starts.
Has won 3 times in handicap chases this season, putting his experience to good use when beating sole rival in novice event at this course in October. Not seen since, but has gone well fresh in the past and reverts to hurdling off workable mark with good 5 lb conditional booked.
Took well to the addition of cheekpieces when winning 8-runner handicaps at Taunton and Warwick (19f, by 3½ lengths from Le Yacht) this season. Below form at Newbury 3 weeks ago though and blinkers now applied on debut for new trainer.
Fairly useful chaser who landed hat-trick of claimers at Dieppe and Auteuil (2) between August and October for N. George & A. Zetterholm. Lightly raced as a hurdler (runner-up on standout effort) and blinkers now removed on debut for yard going well at present. Worth a market check.
Got off the mark at this course in November. Development has stalled since, but he was better than the result when 15 lengths sixth of 9 to Storming George in novice handicap at Newbury last time. Further 3 lb drop and return to 2m will suit for in-form yard.
Often flatters to deceive and has failed to shine in 4 starts this season. However, yard has turned a corner of late, and he's been given a big chance by handicapper tackling a race he's got a good record in (won 2024 renewal, runner-up in 2025).
