11/10

£110,000 3-y-o. Half-brother to numerous winners, including useful hurdler Authorised Speed and French hurdler Speedy Speed. Produced a promising first effort amidst inexperience when second in 6-runner bumper at Fakenham (2m) in February and has obvious claims of going one better.

Form: 2

12/1

Telescope mare. Dam (c133/h120), 2½m-3½m hurdle/chase winner, sister to fairly useful hurdler/useful chaser (stayed 25f) Cresswell Legend. Bred to come into her own at longer trips over jumps.

Form:

Posh Chick¹⁴³

Age: 5| Weight: 10-9| J: Sam Twiston-Davies| T: A J Honeyball

11/2

Jack Hobbs mare. Dam (c96/h75) 2¾m/3m chase winner. Winning pointer, pulled up last time (Nov 2025). Yard has good record in this sphere.

Form: 1-P

Blackmore Jack

Age: 4| Weight: 10-8| J: Ben Godfrey| T: H Brown

150/1

Jack Hobbs gelding. Dam, fairly useful 2m hurdle winner (stayed 21f), closely related to fairly useful hurdler (stayed 25f) Skiddaw Tara. Bred more for stamina than speed.

Form:

Lord Churchill

9/1

Churchill gelding. Half-brother to 3 winners, including useful hurdler Lot of Joy, stays 21f, and fairly useful 2m hurdle winner Sonnyboyliston. Ben Jones an interesting jockey booking.

Form:

Martial Law

Age: 4| Weight: 10-8| J: R T Dunne| T: T H Weston

10/3

Doyen gelding. Dam (c109/h113) 3m hurdle winner. Yard capable of readying one, so worth a glance in the betting.

Twilight son filly who showed a bit when seventh of 14 in bumper at Huntingdon (2m, good to soft) on debut a fortnight ago.

Forecasts

Beau Speed (11/10), Martial Law (10/3), Posh Chick (11/2), Beau Merle (8/1), Lord Churchill (9/1), Crock's Bottom (12/1), Lissahane Lass (50/1), Blackmore Jack (150/1)

BEAU SPEED showed plenty when second at Fakenham on his debut in February and can put that experience to good use. Posh Chick was pulled up on her most recent outing in points but has joined a yard which has a good record in the bumper sphere, while the booking of Ben Jones takes the eye on Lord Churchill.
