Useful winner on Flat for Roger Varian and has shaped well over hurdles for new connections, though went freely without his usual hood when third in 2m Navan novice 8 days ago. Capable of a fair bit better now going handicapping with headgear refitted.

Bagged a pair of soft-ground hurdle wins at Cagnes-sur-Mer for Mathieu Pitart this winter. Raced too freely for his new yard in the Fred Winter at Cheltenham last time.

Fairly useful Flat winner. Got off the mark in this sphere at Ludlow (2m) in February but failed to back it up when fifth of 10 in 2m Warwick novice 3 weeks ago. Needs to bounce back on his first go in handicap company.

Bagged a pair of Fontwell juvenile hurdles before Christmas and posted another good effort (in first-time cheekpieces) when third of 6 in 2m Sandown handicap 22 days ago. Well in the mix eased 1 lb.

Winner on hurdling debut in France but yet to match that form in 3 starts for new yard, a never-dangerous fourth of 9 in 2m Newbury juvenile 30 days ago. Has since had a breathing operation ahead of his handicap bow.

Landed back-to-back 17f juvenile hurdles at Fontwell in the autumn but he's been well beaten in Cheltenham Grade 2 and Sandown handicap since. Has it to prove now.

A fair Flat winner for Charlie Johnston and he has made a promising start in this sphere for his new yard, first past the post at Fontwell last time (hung right and demoted). Keen-going type who can do better still now handicapping.

French recruit has progressed steadily with each of his 3 runs for his current yard, second of 8 in 2m juvenile hurdle at Market Rasen 40 days ago. Has since had a breathing operation and not out of things on his handicap debut with tongue tie added.

A fair 1½m Flat winner for Tom Clover last May. Changed hands for 70,000 gns and quick to get off the mark over hurdles in 2m novice at Musselburgh in February. Only a fair third in 2m Huntingdon juvenile since though so more is needed here. Handicap debutant.

Irish challenger MUNSIF proved a useful winner on the Flat for Roger Varian and can build on earlier promise to gain a first win in this sphere now the headgear goes back on for his first foray into handicap company. Talakan also has better days ahead of him and rates a big threat though, while Senator is another who can't be discounted easily in this cracking juvenile handicap.
