David Keen Handicap Chase (GBB Race)

Dual winner of the Grimthorpe Chase at Doncaster but is hard to catch right nowadays, failing to build on promise of his previous effort when pulled up in the latest renewal of the Grimthorpe last month.

Didn't manage to fulfil his bumper promise over hurdles but made a successful chasing debut in handicap at Wincanton in December. Hasn't progressed and probably not straightforward, although it remains early days for him in this sphere and this is very winnable.

Dual winner last season and, having dropped in the weights this term, scored comfortably in 4-runner handicap at Exeter (19f) 12 days ago, his fourth success under Freddie Gingell. Leading contender now that he's back on track.

Not straightforward but recorded back-to-back wins at Fontwell a year ago and second of 4 at the same course in November. Hasn't kicked on in 2 starts since, though failed to stay 3m at Kempton 15 days ago, and return of cheekpieces could help.

Without a win over fences but one of his better efforts when runner-up over 3m at Windsor on return on New Year's Day. However, hasn't been in the same form in 2 subsequent outings, in blinkers (cheekpieces now back on) when down the field at Exeter last time.
