Age: 4| Weight: 9-9| J: Zak Wheatley⁽³⁾| T: D Carroll| OR: 60

11/1

Runner-up in back-to-back Musselburgh handicaps with blinkers enlisted last summer. Wasn't disgraced final 2 starts of 2025 but improvement needed now switched to the all-weather with the headgear discarded.

Finally Escaped⁷

Age: 4| Weight: 9-9| J: P Mulrennan| T: Roger Fell| OR: 60

40/1

Showed a bit when second of 3 in novice at Newcastle but was no match for the winner and she's failed to make an impact in 2 subsequent starts. Needs to raise her game now handicapping.

Form: 265

(2)

Roaring Ralph^b²⁴

Age: 6| Weight: 9-8| J: Sean Kirrane| T: M Dods| OR: 59| CD

5/6

In good form here since the turn of the year, runner-up twice before striking over C&D last month. Followed up back at this course next time and should make a bold bid to complete the hat-trick.

Form: 70-2211

(5)

Teggy Lasso^p1¹⁷

Age: 4| Weight: 9-6| J: Hollie Doyle| T: I Furtado| OR: 57| BF

5/1

Lightly-raced maiden who took a step forward when fourth of 9 over this C&D on handicap bow earlier this month. Stamina stretched up to 1¼m next time and he's interesting back at this trip.

Form: 0/7-745

(6)

Danehill Star^b²³

Age: 5| Weight: 9-6| J: William Carson| T: A W Carroll| OR: 57| BF| D

17/2

Back in the winning groove at Lingfield (1m) 3 starts back and shaped quite well when runner-up in first-time blinkers over the same C&D last time. High on the shortlist.

Form: 0-39152

(3)

Pink Socks²³

Age: 7| Weight: 9-5| J: Ryan Kavanagh⁽⁵⁾| T: Stephanie Cassidy| OR: 56| CD

33/1

Landed hat-trick in January but form has nosedived since and she was safely held on debut for new connections last time.

Form: 114966

(4)

Ardaddy^p⁷

Age: 4| Weight: 9-3| J: Jack Nicholls⁽⁵⁾| T: M Appleby| OR: 54| C

7/1

Kept busy since gaining breakthrough success over 7f here in October but form has tailed off a little of late and likely to come up short once more.

Form: 333465

(1)

Back From Dubai⁸¹

Age: 9| Weight: 9-1| J: Alistair Rawlinson| T: S R Bowring| OR: 52| CD

9/1

Three-time C&D winner who registered latest success at Wolverhampton last May. Largely acquitted himself well since and this 9-y-o has each-way claims.

Form: 52263-5

Forecasts

Roaring Ralph (5/6), Teggy Lasso (5/1), Ardaddy (7/1), Danehill Star (17/2), Back From Dubai (9/1), Drumcondra (11/1), Pink Socks (33/1), Finally Escaped (40/1)

ROARING RALPH is taken to complete the hat-trick following back-to-back C&D victories. A 2 lb nudge for his latest success is negligible and the 6-y-o shades preference ahead of Danehill Star, while Back From Dubai and Teggy Lasso are others to consider.
