Didn't fire on the Flat last year but has been in good form over hurdles this winter and does benefit from a drop in grade on return to the level. Cheekpieces go back on.
Won a handicap in this grade at Goodwood (heavy) in September but didn't meet expectations (sent off 6/4 favourite) when fourth of 6 at Bath the following month. Still relatively unexposed starting his second season and plainly versatile when it comes to ground.
Capitalised on handy mark over C&D in June and similar story when successful on all-weather last month. Shaped as if still in good form in muddling race at Newcastle latest and while he'll need some luck from a wide draw, this mark doesn't look beyond him.
Won 3 times last year but struggled for form as the season ended. Did finish close third in this race 12 months ago, though hasn't had the benefit of a pipe-opener this time around.
Teofilo mare is very lightly raced for her age and shaped well when runner-up twice at this course last season. Ran no sort of race at Southwell on latest start in July but has proven herself capable following a break.
Lost his way on the Flat last season and didn't shape with any immediate promise when tenth of 12 in handicap (40/1) at Southwell on return.
Arrives on the back of a busy all-weather campaign but was still in fine heart when well-backed fourth of 10 at Newcastle last time, despite not being seen to best effect. Big field/galloping track should suit on return to turf.
Seems more straightforward nowadays and probably finished last year in better heart than form figures suggest (race not run to suit at Newcastle in November). She's been a well-backed winner over C&D previously and would be interesting if supported on return.
Makes rare start over 1¼m having won a trio of 1m handicaps last season, the latest at Redcar in first-time cheekpieces in November. Likely needed her comeback at Wolverhampton but usual headgear again left off.
In good heart on all-weather this winter, shaping as though worth another go over this trip when fourth of 9 in 1m handicap at Southwell last time, and he's one to consider on first turf start for current yard.
Won twice last summer/autumn and returned in good heart (despite looking rusty) when third of 10 at Newcastle. Hood added to usual cheekpieces and should at least be competitive back on turf.
Inconsistent performer remains with just 1 win, though did well to finish sixth of 10 off slow gallop at Newcastle last time. Well backed on that occasion and worth noting he was sent off favourite when disappointing in a division of this race 12 months ago.
Form tailed off after winning strongly-run apprentice classified stakes at Nottingham last July and faces no easy task upped in grade on return.
Failed to come on for his reappearance when last of 9 in classified stakes at Wolverhampton and faces a very tall order at the weights.

BEARWITH has a close second and a win to his name over C&D, and while stall 15 isn't ideal, he has a good-value apprentice aboard and may enhance his fine record here. Relevant Range and Bay Dream Believer both make each-way appeal.
