Shaped better than the distance beaten suggests returning from 17 months off when well held in C&D maiden (heavy) recently, not knocked about. Remains with potential but possibly more one for handicaps after this run.

Showed more than first time up when fourth of 10 in maiden (20/1) at Cork (6f, good) in June and highly likely there's more to come based on her pedigree.

Held back by inexperience when seventh of 11 in maiden at this C&D (heavy) on debut in October, merely passing beaten rivals. Needs to leave that behind.

Failed to progress from a promising debut when third of 10 in 5f maiden at Cork (good, 15/8) last April. Remains early days however, and the step up to 6f promises to suit.

Hasn't progressed since finishing fourth in a listed race here on debut last May, including when failing to justify support after 7 months off at Dundalk in January.

Verdict

CLOSELY finished behind a trio of rivals that are now rated appreciably higher by Timeform in a 6f maiden at Cork in June and is an appealing candidate in an ordinary-looking race, especially with her pedigree strongly pointing towards further improvement. Slaney View showed promise on both her starts last spring and should be suited by the step up to 6f, while newcomer Focaccia makes appeal on paper and needs a close look in the betting.
