Hurdles debutant who finished runner-up in a point and showed a bit more second time up over hurdles at Ayr last month. Looks the yard second string
Pulled up both starts to date.
Has shown nothing in pair of bumpers at Kelso.
Placed all 3 bumper starts in 2023/24 and shaped quite well in a pair of C&D maiden hurdles returning from a long absence, runner-up in December. Cast aside a lesser effort when third at Ayr 3 weeks ago and there should be more to come. Major claims.
Glimpses of ability so far but has pulled up the last twice.
Showed some promise when fourth in a course bumper on debut in October. Unable to make an impact in a trio of hurdles starts, albeit he caught the eye of the stewards at Ayr over 2m 3 weeks ago, finishing with running left. Up in trip and he has a bigger effort in him.
Successful on second of his 2 outings in Irish points and displayed ability when fourth of 12 starting out under Rules at Ayr 19 days ago (2m). Can build on that upped in trip.
Multiple winning pointer but just a modest maiden hurdler and his level is pretty well established in handicaps.
Runner-up in a couple of points and relished emphasis on stamina when making a winning bumper debut at Limerick in December 2022. Easy to excuse run 4 months later and though long absence since is a worry, she is in very capable hands. Market will guide on hurdles debut.
Lightly-raced ex-Irish maiden hurdler who offered little after 3-year absence in January. Up in trip with a tongue tie on.
Well held in 3 events at Ayr.
£40,000 purchase after winning an Irish point last March. The betting should help guide to expectations now hurdling for Ruth Jefferson in what isn't a deep contest.
Yet to show any ability.

Forecasts
Cushendun (9/4), Maiori (11/4), Queens Secret (5/1), Wise Move (6/1), Bold Reflection (7/1), C'mon So (9/1), Hourman (11/1), Eagle's Cairn (33/1), Comedaygoday (150/1), Colonel Jack (250/1), Countryman Joe (300/1), Culzean (400/1), Strathcatcha (400/1)
This test is slightly on the sharp side for CUSHENDUN but this isn't a strong maiden hurdle and the feeling is that we haven't seen the best of him. Queens Secret won her point and while she's been off a year, she has to command respect, as does Bold Reflection after an even longer lay-off with the market likely to help assess that pair.
