Fair winner of Ludlow novice for Mel Rowley but following a fall on stable debut, showed nothing on return from 15 months off at Kelso last time.

Fairly useful bumper winner makes quick switch to handicaps having showed more than on hurdle debut when fourth in Market Rasen novice in January, though the handicapper hasn't taken any chances with his opening mark.

Runner-up final start in points and having again looked ready for this step up in trip when fourth in 2m1f Newcastle maiden, he could improve in first-time tongue strap on handicap debut.

Chased home fairly useful Moonbow in 2½m Hexham novice last summer, though hasn't matched that form since, including on handicap debut when fourth of 12 at Doncaster last time. Might come on for that.

Runner-up in higher grade at Wetherby in October and not for the first time, seemed better for a break when third in 12-runner handicap at Doncaster last time. Should go close if in similar form 3 weeks on.

Some promise in a couple of bumpers for Tom Weston and looks very much to have been brought along with handicaps in mind over hurdles. Opening mark does him no favours, though.

Returns from 12 weeks off in another switch of headgear, having been operating below his best at the end of last year (pulled up at Sedgefield on St Stephen's Day).

Hasn't won for nearly 2 years and underlined he's going the wrong way when well beaten at Doncaster last time.

Veteran finished last year in good form, making it back-to-back thirds at Kelso in November. Upped in grade here, but he cannot be discounted given his record fresh/at this track.
