C&D winner who finished well held third when bidding to make it a hat-trick in 3m handicaps at Ayr last time, though he may prove more competitive having been given more time between races.

Promising start over staying distances, beaten by a well-backed one at Taunton before bumping into a 3-time course winner at Catterick in late-January. Similar performance should see him in the mix again.

Runner-up in an Irish point and continues to go the right way over hurdles, much improved second on handicap debut at Kelso (22.7f) last month, despite a less-than-ideal position. Makes appeal to go one better for yard among the winners.

Looked better than ever when resuming winning ways at Ayr last month but ran no sort of race (despite having won on good ground) in less testing conditions at Newcastle last time. Reasonable to think this C&D winner can bounce back in calmer waters.

Ran as well as could be expected from out of the handicap when 18¼ lengths seventh of 13 to Shoeshine Boy at Ayr last month but isn't one to be going overboard about.

Lightly raced for age and showed first worthwhile form when third at Carlisle (19.3f) on reappearance/handicap debut last month. That form has merit and he looks well worth another try over this trip.

Arrives out of sorts, faring little better for the return to hurdles when remote fourth of 8 in handicap at Catterick 8 days ago.
