Off time: 14:48 | Winning time: 6m 10.59s

Fox's Fancy³⁷

Age: 8| Weight: 12-0| J: D R Fox| T: L Russell & M Scudamore| OR: 110

7/4

A fair winning hurdler but she's yet to hit top form this term, failing to fully see it out when fifth from the front over 3m here in January. Given a short break and yard going a bit better now.

Form: 23-F445

Keep On Cobbling¹⁰²

Age: 6| Weight: 11-6| J: C Gethings| T: H D Daly| OR: 102| BF| D

7/1

Picked up where she left off at Stratford when making a winning handicap debut at Sedgefield in November (21.2f). Slight drop in trip looked against her at Hereford later that month and better expected this time after a break.

Form: 0F21-16

Tread Softly Now^p¹⁶

Age: 7| Weight: 11-2| J: Charlie Maggs⁽³⁾| T: I A Duncan| OR: 98| C

4/1

Opened account for the season over 19.5f here in November and produced a career best when second at Kelso following month. 2m no good to her in January and quickly back in good order when third at Sedgefield a fortnight ago.

Form: 21P243

Bollin Matilda^t²⁰

Age: 8| Weight: 10-7| J: Theo Gillard| T: D W Whillans| OR: 89

6/4

Much more like it when landing a pair of 3m handicaps in spring 2024. Stood little racing since but better than ever with a tongue tie fitted when second at Musselburgh last month, rallying. Long way clear of the rest that day and claims are obvious from 2 lb higher.

Form: 6-P7342

Forecasts

Bollin Matilda (6/4), Fox's Fancy (7/4), Tread Softly Now (4/1), Keep On Cobbling (7/1)

BOLLIN MATILDA pulled clear with an unexposed one at Musselburgh 3 weeks ago and her claims of going one place better from 2 lb higher appear to be bright. Keep On Cobbling has been given a break since disappointing at Hereford and is expected to get back on track here.
