Just touched off at Wolverhampton last month but regain the winning thread 9 days later at Chelmsford last time, proof that he's basically as good as ever. Nudged up just 2 lb and should remain competitive.
Won twice on turf in October but run of good form came to a halt on second outing at Newcastle in November. Yet to win on synthetics.
Won over C&D in December and has held his form on both subsequent starts. Fancied to go very close again with Billy Loughnane taking over in the plate.
Has lost his way since his early starts last year, though did have the excuse of being caught wide most recently. Hopes pinned on another change of headgear.
Hasn't looked back since a second breathing operation last summer, winning twice from last 5 starts (runner-up the other 3). Should continue to go well.
C&D winner in January then followed up at Wolverhampton over 7f the following month, having nothing to spare at the line having edged ahead 1f out. Only 1 lb higher here.
Front runner who scored at Brighton in October and resumed winning ways at Chelmsford in January, the drop to 5f in his favour. Found his stamina ebbing away late over C&D a fortnight ago so others more appealing kept to this trip.

BUCCABAY scored over C&D in December and having held his form well subsequently, Eve Johnson Houghton's 6-y-o gets the nod over Dyrholaey, who won in determined fashion at Chelmsford just under 3 weeks ago and should remain competitive after a small rise. Hundred Caps has been ultra-consistent since a second breathing operation last summer so completes the shortlist.
