9/1, cosily made a winning start in 7-runner bumper at Hexham (16.2f, good to firm) in August. That form has worked out well so this Massaat filly is very much one to consider under a 7 lb penalty despite her absence.

Frontiersman mare. Dam, modest 17f hurdle winner, is a half-sister to smart hurdler/useful chaser (stays 3m) Shades of Midnight. The market can guide for this newcomer.

Forecasts

Rainbow Tara (11/10), Lady Walk On Bye (9/4), Peace Belle (9/2), Dolly Drama (9/1), I Wanna Be Adored (14/1), Ellistrin Jarla (50/1), Ashgill Angel (300/1)

Verdict

RAINBOW TARA shaped well starting out for Dan Skelton when runner-up at Uttoxeter and on the back of wind surgery she can take another step forward to get off the mark. Peace Belle scored cosily at Hexham on her debut and rates a major threat now back after six months off, while Wetherby third Dolly Drama and Nicky Richards' newcomer Lady Walk On Bye also need considering.

  2. Peace Belle9/2
  3. Dolly Drama9/1
