9/1, cosily made a winning start in 7-runner bumper at Hexham (16.2f, good to firm) in August. That form has worked out well so this Massaat filly is very much one to consider under a 7 lb penalty despite her absence.

80/1, well-held sixth of 8 in bumper at Market Rasen (16.6f, heavy) on her NH debut 8 months ago. Significantly more is required from this daughter of Jukebox Jury.

Mahler filly. Underwent wind surgery before making a promising start when third of 10 in bumper at Wetherby in November, fading late having made rapid headway approaching straight. Capable of better.

Frontiersman mare. Dam, modest 17f hurdle winner, is a half-sister to smart hurdler/useful chaser (stays 3m) Shades of Midnight. The market can guide for this newcomer.

€7,000 3-y-o, Capri mare. Dam unraced half-sister to fairly useful chaser (stayed 2½m) Scottish Bambi. Worth a precautionary check in the betting.
Timeform
€75,000 3-y-o, Walk In The Park mare. Half-sister to 3 winners, including fairly useful hurdler/smart chaser Downmexicoway, stays 2½m. A noteworthy debutante.
Timeform
Kayf Tara mare who built on her debut promise (for Toby Bulgin) after 9 months off when second of 12 in bumper at Uttoxeter in December. Has since undergone wind surgery and looks open to further progress.

Forecasts

Rainbow Tara (2/1), Dolly Drama (11/4), Peace Belle (3/1), Lady Walk On Bye (4/1), I Wanna Be Adored (20/1), Ellistrin Jarla (25/1), Ashgill Angel (100/1)

Verdict

RAINBOW TARA shaped well starting out for Dan Skelton when runner-up at Uttoxeter and on the back of wind surgery she can take another step forward to get off the mark. Peace Belle scored cosily at Hexham on her debut and rates a major threat now back after six months off, while Wetherby third Dolly Drama and Nicky Richards' newcomer Lady Walk On Bye also need considering.
