Showed ability in 4 maiden hurdles for Shark Hanlon in Ireland last summer. Low-key start for this yard in December but took a step forward when runner-up on handicap debut at Musselburgh (23.8f, good to soft) last month. Major claims here if able to build on that improved effort.

Resumed winning ways at Perth last August and by no means disgraced in finishing fourth at Sedgefield and Sligo since (latter over fences). However, it remains to be seen if this Irish raider has anything in hand of his current mark and he's probably worth taking on back from a 5-month break.

Opened hurdles account in a 17f maiden here in January 2025 and followed that with a creditable effort in defeat at Doncaster. However, it would be hard to argue that he's improved since switched to handicaps and others make more appeal.

Best effort in handicap hurdles last spring when a close third of 6 over 3m at Kelso. Well held back from a break at Sedgefield in September, though, and failed to complete when returning from another break at Catterick in January. Probably best to look elsewhere.

Fetched 6 figures after winning an Irish point and left previous form under Rules behind upped in trip over this C&D at the end of January, sticking to his task well to win a 9-runner handicap. This is tougher up 5 lb but he's unexposed as a stayer and still has low mileage overall.

Lightly-raced maiden who arguably ran just about his best race to date when fourth in a 9-runner Catterick novice (19.3f, good) in December. Likely to be seen in a better light now handicapping but couldn't be sure that this step up in trip is what he wants.

Back-to-back winner during the autumn and followed that brace with a couple of solid efforts in defeat off this mark. Form has dipped somewhat the last twice but she's broadly consistent and it would be no surprise to see this 6-y-o involved in the finish.

Looked better than ever when resuming winning ways at Ayr (24.3f, heavy) 3 weeks ago, winning that 9-runner handicap with a good deal of authority. 7 lb rise demands more but, like stablemate Whiskey On Ice, he has to be high on the shortlist.

Ready winner of 23f handicap at Worcester for Ben Pauling last summer but pulled up in an open point on sole subsequent appearance last month.

Stablemates WHISKEY ON ICE and Better Be Definite both make plenty of appeal, with preference for the former who took a step in the right direction when finding just one too good off this mark on his handicap debut at Musselburgh. Better Be Definite is greatly respected, despite going up 7 lb for his runaway Ayr success. Princesse Milania can usually be relied upon to run her race and she is third choice ahead of C&D scorer Parish Quiz.
