Purchased for £120,000 after making a winning point debut and shaped well when runner-up in Exeter bumper on Rules debut. Yet to show much over hurdles (failed to see out race on handicap debut latest) but drops in grade and remains with potential.

Fair bumper winner (under this jockey) who made it a hat-trick of runner-up finishes in maidens last season but has failed to take to chasing this winter. Reunited with Harry Cobden on hurdles return.

Easily off the mark in C&D handicap in November but was found out in better company over 3m at Newbury last month. Unproven on soft ground but faces more realistic assignment here.

Some promise in Irish maidens and best effort in handicaps when third of 12 at Ludlow (21.2f, soft) earlier this month. In the mix if he can brush up on his jumping.

Bred to be better than his opening mark and produced an encouraging effort when third over 2m here on qualifying run 11 days ago, not given hard time. Improvement expected now handicapping over longer trip.

No impact in trio of hurdle starts around 2m, for all he showed a bit more on qualifying run here last month. Yard do well with handicap debutants and he ought to improve upped markedly in trip.

Has shown little to date, including on return from 33 months off at Warwick 30 days ago. Yard in much better form now, so worth a second look in the betting on handicap bow.

GARAVOGUE produced his best effort when third over 2m here on qualifying run and should improve for the switch to handicaps over longer trips. He's preferred to Lion Of The Desert, who made more impact than previously at Ludlow last time and should be in the mix if his jumping holds up. Handicap debutant Cote D'Ange looks a likely improver for the Sam Thomas yard, while Walk Tall isn't discounted eased in grade.
