Four-time hurdles winner who returned with fine placed efforts at Lingfield/Cheltenham. Probably in better heart than recent form figures suggest, fourth in a much stronger handicap at Sandown (23.5f) 19 days ago. Given a chance by the assessor ahead of this.

Dual hurdles winner who's been chasing this season, scoring in decisive fashion at Musselburgh at Christmas. Unseated early there next time, and interesting back over hurdles off lower mark.

Badly out of sorts over fences this season and stretching it to believe a switch of headgear will have much of an effect returned to hurdling.

Out-and-out stayer who ran his best race of the season when runner-up at Hexham (23.3f) in December. Sharp track seemed against him when a staying-on fourth at Catterick (25.3f) latest and, whilst this trip is worth exploring, his losing run stretches back to 2022.

Relatively lightly raced for his age and he confirmed promise of his Wetherby fourth under a positive ride when doubling his career tally in 7-runner C&D handicap 2 weeks ago, responding well. 3 lb rise shouldn't prevent him making a bold bid now equipped with cheekpieces.

Dwight K Schrute looks worth a crack at this trip judged on his latest Warwick third, whilst Forged Well is another to consider back over smaller obstacles.
