Join Racing TV Now Juvenile Maiden Hurdle (GBB Race)

Down the field sole start on the Flat in Ireland and didn't show much starting out for new yard on hurdles debut at Musselburgh on New Year's Day either. Now tried in a tongue strap.

Showed plenty of ability despite obvious inexperience when runner-up in 4-runner novice on the Flat at Ripon in September. Stepped up on low-key hurdles debut when fourth of 10 in a first-time hood (retained) at Wetherby (2m, heavy) last month and one to watch out for in handicaps in due course.

Modest performer at up to a mile on the level and major stamina query now switched to hurdles.

Dual winner on the Flat latterly taking an 8.3f Nottingham handicap last summer. Another for whom there are question marks stamina-wise not sent hurdling.

French form has some merit (reached the frame in bumpers/juvenile hurdle for M.Seror) and fair form when fifth of 10 in an Ascot juvenile hurdle on second start for present connections. Wouldn't need to improve much on that (if at all) to have a major say in this contest.

Fair maiden on Flat (should stay beyond 1m) for Hugo Palmer and he's a half-brother to fairly useful hurdler Courage. Showed plenty to work on when second of 11 on hurdles debut at Taunton and strong each-way claims here, for all that he failed to build on that initial promise at Wetherby last time.

Fair form when third both outings on the Flat in France and, having changed hands for €140,000 last summer, he has shaped well in 2m juvenile hurdles at Kempton and Chepstow. Remains open to improvement in this sphere and he's a strong candidate.

Modest form in 2 bumpers and didn't fare any better starting out over hurdles at Warwick.
