Returned from 7 months off better than ever when landing 8-runner classified event over C&D 11 days ago by 1¼ lengths from Sir Maxi. Well on top at the finish then so big shout.

Remains a maiden after 21 runs but proving a reliable sort and he shaped as if in need of the run after 12 weeks off when a fading fifth of 7 in handicap at Wolverhampton (7.2f) 19 days ago. Can take a step forward now so must enter calculations.

It's now 24 runs since his last win in 2024 but he comes here in good nick, a clear second of 10 in classified event at Wolverhampton (8.6f) 16 days ago. Very much one to consider.

Well held on all 3 starts in novice company last summer. Needs a subsequent wind op to spark major improvement.

On a long losing run and he came in only fourteenth of 15 in handicap at Gowran (8.3f) when last seen out in October. This Irish raider needs to take a big step forward on his tapeta debut.

A fair 1m winner in 2024. Very lightly raced since but arrives in decent nick, not seen to ideal effect when fifth of 8 in handicap at Lingfield (10f) 8 days ago. Possibilities.

Gained his sole success over 7f here last July and largely in good form later in 2025. Off 4 months and went without his usual tongue strap when only eighth of 10 in 1m Southwell handicap 10 days ago and no surprise to see him bounce back here with headgear refitted.

A case can be made for a few of these but I CAN BOOGY returned from a seven-month absence an improved model when readily bagging a similar event over C&D and can score again. Bossy Parker is on a long losing sequence but heads the list of dangers on the back of a good Wolverhampton second. Both course scorer Sir Maxi and in-form maiden Bandello can have a say too in this open contest.
