Remains a maiden but continued in reasonable heart when fourth of 10 in handicap at Newcastle (7/1) 23 days ago. Tries 10f for the first time.

Won over 1m here last month and confirmed himself right at the top of his game under a penalty when second of 9 in handicap at Kempton (7/2) a week later. Hasn't been over this far for some time but that shouldn't be an issue.
Left James Evans and caught the eye on stable debut when fourth of 9 in handicap at Kempton (10/1) 8 days ago, passing rivals late at a trip short of his best (last 7 wins at 9.5f-10.2f). On an attractive mark and this previous C&D winner looks worth chancing back up in trip.
Probably in need of the run on first outing since leaving Andrew Balding after 10 months off when fifth of 7 in maiden at Chelmsford (40/1) 4 weeks ago, his saddle appearing to slip soon after start. Makes handicap debut and steps up in trip.
C&D winner in November 2024 but without a win in 10 subsequent starts and was seventh of 10 in handicap here (16/1) 52 days ago, probably needing the run after 11 weeks off. First-time tongue strap applied.
Left Charlie Johnston's yard and was below form on stable debut but showed improvement when third of 9 in handicap at this C&D (40/1) 19 days ago, making a big move but unable to sustain it. Down to a fair mark and should remain competitive.
Sole win came at Kempton in May but has struggled since, finishing last in both recent AW starts. Hood reapplied and worth a second look having dipped below his last winning mark.

Forecasts
Joseph (2/1), Masqool (9/4), Rising Force (6/1), Crafter (13/2), Beta Reader (8/1), Tatmeen (8/1), Daddy Chill (50/1)
MASQOOL caught the eye passing rivals late on stable debut at Kempton 8 days ago and now stepping back up in trip, Tony Carroll's 8-y-o can regain the winning thread at the expense of Rising Force, who is right at the top of his game and ran as well as he ever has at Kempton recently. Beta Reader stepped up on his stable debut last time and rounds off the shortlist.
