5-y-o who had gone well fresh previously and he proved better than ever following 4 months off when winning 10-runner handicap at this C&D 56 days ago, albeit getting first run. Still, that takes his all-weather record to 2-2 and there could be a little more to come on synthetics.

Had a productive spell on all-weather last winter, culminating in success on Finals Day at Newcastle (6f) last April. Struggled on turf after but resumed in good form, better than he could show when seventh of 13 in handicap at Southwell (6.1f) 41 days ago. One to consider in refitted cheekpieces.
Improved model since returning from a lengthy absence, doubling career tally at Wolverhampton (6.1f) in December. Good second back up at 7f next time and easy to overlook his run in listed company at Lingfield (stumbled and unseated start). Return to handicaps a big plus.
Lightly raced 4-y-o who made more impact than he has for a while when second of 7 in handicap at Lingfield (6f, AW) 25 days ago, staying on without threatening winner. That rates a platform to build on but this is a tougher affair.
Ended last year in fine form, posting a third success since September at Chelmsford (7f) in December. Latest thirteenth of 14 in handicap (16/1) at Newcastle (6f) 26 days ago has to go down as disappointing but no great surprise to see him bounce back.
4-time winner on AW, including over C&D who ended last year in good heart, runner-up returned to this track/trip in December. Possible the drop back to 5f inconvenienced him when last of 5 in handicap at Newcastle (5f) latest and whilst this more suitable, he remains 4 lb above last winning mark.
Back to form with a bang after a gelding operation when winning 9-runner handicap at Wolverhampton (6.1f) 6 weeks ago. A 4 lb rise may not prevent another bold bid and he's still unexposed on artificial surfaces.
C&D winner who hadn't been seen to his optimum on his 2 previous runs and he made amends when landing 9-runner handicap at Lingfield (7f) 21 days ago, overcoming positional bias. 2 lb rise looks fair on that evidence.
Bagged last season's Great St Wilfrid at Ripon (6f) and back on the scoresheet at Lingfield (6f) in December. However, he's essentially been below par subsequently, weakening inside final 1f when sixth of 9 in handicap at Chelmsford (6f) 13 days ago. Others stronger.

Kullazain (9/5), El Bodon (5/2), Stratusnine (13/2), We Never Stop (13/2), Eminency (12/1), Carbine Harvester (12/1), Bolo Neighs (18/1), Tiger Crusade (25/1), Intervention (28/1)
STRATUSNINE has returned from a lengthy absence an improved model, doubling his career tally at Wolverhampton in December prior to shaping best when runner-up over 7f on his next start. His latest run is easily overlooked and he's one to be positive about returned to sprint handicaps. Kullazain could have more to offer now he's back on track, whilst El Bodon is 2-2 on the AW and commands a second look from a handy draw.
