1/3
Irish point winner who was 3-3 in bumpers (useful form) and perfect start in this sphere when making all at Chepstow in November. Left subsequent below-par Sandown effort well behind when easily taking C&D novice (good to soft) last month and remains with potential.

2/1
Bumper scorer here last term who built on promising Chepstow hurdles debut when readily winning 13-runner novice over C&D (good to soft) 52 days ago. Likely more to come yet.

Twice-raced maiden who offered more than on debut when fourth of 10 in novice hurdle at Wincanton (15.2f, soft) 23 days ago. Likely one for longer term, though.

Best effort on level for Karl Burke at Doncaster in July but proved disappointing under both codes for new connections. Has had a breathing operation.

Forecasts

Sober Glory (1/3), Kadastral (2/1), Fantasy World (5/2), Kocktail Bleu (8/1), Last Round (20/1), Typhoon Warrior (22/1), Laplander (33/1), Air Apparent (50/1), Gulf Coast Highway (125/1), Famous Shoes (125/1)

Verdict

SOBER GLORY got firmly back on the up when making all in a good time here last month and remains open to further improvement. He gets the nod in what should prove an informative opener. Kadastral is also on an upward curve and looks the obvious danger, whilst useful Flat performer Fantasy World is a fascinating recruit to hurdling and must be taken seriously, particularly if the market vibes are strong.
