Hasn't won for a year but regularly contests high-end handicaps. Third of 13 in Mallard handicap at Doncaster (16/1) 147 days ago when refitted with cheekpieces, led and kicked on over 2f out before being collared in the final 50 yards. Has rejoined former yard and this is easier.
Has been hard to catch right for a while, runner-up at Chester last September before finishing last of 9 in handicap at Southwell (7/2) 56 days ago when shaping as if amiss after 7 weeks off. Cheekpieces removed.
Ended long losing run in a slightly easier handicap than he had been contesting at Southwell (10/3) 36 days ago, overcoming ordinary pace at shorter trip. Back up to 16.5f and 4 lb rise perfectly fair.
Gained third win of a productive winter in at 12f course handicap in December. Third of 11 in handicap at Newcastle (8/1) 21 days ago over 2m, confirming his stamina for that far and he's holding his form really well.
Career-best effort when winning at Southwell in December and backed that up under a penalty when second of 6 in handicap at Kempton (5/4 fav) 30 days ago, the muddling nature of that race not helping. Returns to a course where he has won three times.
Successful at this C&D in December and even better form when second of 11 in handicap at Newcastle (5/1) 3 weeks ago, up in grade but running really well, leading briefly 2f out and pulling clear of remainder. A force to be reckoned with on this surface.

Ribble Vibe (15/8), Roaring Legend (10/3), Enemy (11/2), Brasil Power (6/1), Prydwen (7/1), Sax Appeal (15/2)
RIBBLE VIBE was successful at this C&D in December and ran really well up in grade at Newcastle three weeks ago. Still low mileage and posting a very positive AW record, he's selected to return to winning ways. Course winner Brasil Power is in good form with back-to-back wins in December and held his form well over 2m at Newcastle, so he's a threat, along with Sax Appeal in what is a useful handicap.
