Cheekpieces go on now and open to improvement.

Has hinted at ability without making the frame in a trio of novice hurdles this winter and this former point runner-up could prove a different proposition now switching to fences for his handicap debut. Worth a market check.

Lightly-raced sort who has returned from a long absence with a trio of promising efforts over fences this term, second of 12 in 2m4f Ludlow handicap three weeks ago when faring best of those held up. Weighted to go close nudged up 1 lb.

Course winner in December but well held both runs since, only ninth of 14 in handicap chase at Taunton (23f, good to soft) 19 days ago. Others are preferred.

Made a winning start over fences at Leicester last February and returned from a near three-month break with an encouraging fifth of 12 at Ludlow (20f, soft) 21 days ago, left with a lot to do. In the mix with cheekpieces back on.

Showed some promise in maiden hurdles in 2023 but his form tailed off last season (including in this sphere) and reappearance effort in a Leicester selling hurdle was hardly encouraging. Visor replaces cheekpieces with lots to prove.

Winless since early 2024 but he was twice hampered before being pulled up in handicap chase at Hereford (25.2f, soft) 24 days ago. No forlorn hope from a reduced mark.
