Course winner hasn't looked the force of old in either start since rejoining current yard. latterly when well held in headgear (now removed). Does benefit from a drop in grade here.

Strong-travelling sort who was much improved from his chase debut when winning here (19.1f) in October. Back on track when chasing home well-treated rival at Huntingdon (16.5f, soft) 41 days ago, clear of rest. Makes appeal to resume winning ways.

Veteran on a long losing run but showed he can be competitive from reduced mark when third at Ffos Las (19f, soft) in November, shaping with credit having taken strong hold. Not in same form at Wetherby subsequently but has run well at this track if back on song.

Productive over fences last season, scoring at Hereford and Leicester in February. Not in same form this season but wasn't disgraced when third of 6 in handicap chase (6/1) at Fontwell (19.5f, soft) 21 days ago and now races off 1 lb below his last winning mark.

Placed in points and surpassed lowly hurdles form when successful on chase debut over C&D (soft) in December. Never landed a blow in a race where nothing got involved from rear at Wetherby later that month and lightly-raced sort looks worth another chance.

Free-going type who has placed in two of his last 3 starts over fences, latterly when second here (17.2f, soft) 16 days ago, again finding a bit less than looked likely. Should be in the mix back up in trip.

Isn't one for maximum faith (has promised more than delivered) and he's not in the same form as he was last season. Needs to do more to capitalise on falling mark.

GRAIN TRADE can make it back-to-back chase victories as this course, while C&D winner Florita isn't fully exposed over fences and looks the danger. Lone Soldier needs things to fall right to break his maiden but should be in the mix in an open-looking handicap.
