Got off the mark over C&D in November and backed it up with a very good second of 13 in handicap at this C&D 33 days ago, just failing. Up 2 lb but he's expected to be bang there.

Forecasts

Dust Cover (6/4), Jodhpur Blue (2/1), Bearwith (8/1), Brodie's Boy (9/1), Boubyan (9/1), It's A Love Thing (12/1), Karthala (40/1)

Verdict

Ross Burdon's low-mileage DUST COVER arrives on the up and is fancied to quickly resume winning ways and bag a second C&D success at the chief expense of Jodhpur Blue who could find this step up in distance to his benefit. It's A Love Thing, Brodie's Boy and Bearwith can fight it out for minor honours.
